How much space do you need?

We like to allow for a minimum of 2m x 4m for our performance, however we can play in smaller spaces.

How is it best to time things?

It takes approximately one hour for set-up and sound check. We usually play two, one hour sets but are happy to play for longer or shorter time, if you so wish.

Can I pick the bands playlist?

Sure, but I would recommend liaising with our band representative so the set work as dynamically as possible.

Where will you travel to?

We are happy to travel worldwide.

Can I see you play live?

Yes, although most of our gigs are private functions, we occasionally play public gigs and would be more than happy to let you know when one was coming up.

Will you learn our special song?

Absolutely, however there is an additional charge for songs outside our repertoire because of the time spent learning and rehearsing the song, as we want it to be absolutely right for you.

Is the video on your website a true reflection of the band?

Yes! There is no studio trickery or post-production work on our videos. Everything is live so the sound you hear is a true representation of the quality you will get at your event.

The only thing we don’t bring is the full size acoustic piano! We use a professional keyboard which emulates an acoustic piano brilliantly.

Are you able to DJ in between sets?

Yes, we offer a DJ option for an additional fee. This is a very cost effective way of having us DJ when the live music has stopped.

Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?

Absolutely, we arrange specific music to suit clients’ events all the time.

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

No problem at all.

What equipment do you use?

We use an RCF line array professional sound system with 2500W of power. A professional Mackie mixing desk, a JBL monitoring system.

Do you have lights?

Yes, we use multiple LED stage and floor lighting.

How long do you play for?

Our sets usually consist of two x one hour sets but we can play for longer for an additional fee, or shorter if you require.

What time do you start and finish?

Our standard fee is based upon an arrival time of 18:00 with a finish of 00:00. We can arrive and finish earlier and later, should you require. We are happy to position our sets wherever suits you.

How long do you take to set up?


Can I provisionally book you?

Sure, we are happy to ‘pencil’ in a booking for 48 hours.

What if the band split up before my event?

In the extremely highly unlikely event that this would happen, being the professionals that we are, every step would be made to find you a suitable replacement.

Can my sisters/bosses/daughters dog sing with your band?

If you know somebody that would like to perform with us then please ask before your event. If they have previous stage experience then we will be happy to assist.

What will the band wear?

The band wears smart black attire.

Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?

Yes and can provide copies of these documents if you require.

Do Live Lounge have any specific requirements?

A hot meal, soft drinks and adequate parking always goes down well with us!

What type/size venues are you able to play at?

From small garden parties to Earls Court and the Emirates Stadium there is no venue too big or small.

How loud will the band be?

Having many years gigging and mixing experience, we can go very loud or keep within venue sound limiters, If need be.

What is the band power requirement?

We like to run our power from two separate 12A wall sockets

Do The Hot Shots offer any additional services?

We do, from extra long sets, to acoustic sets, DJ sets, new song requests we can accommodate most additional service requests. Please get on contact here to ask….
